Camp Rooted

Started summer of 2018, camp rooted brings foster siblings ages 8-18 separated in care from around the inland northwest, together for a week of camp in Northern Idaho.

2019 Camp Dates: July 21-26, 2019!!!

Our Mission

The mission of Camp Rooted is to strengthen sibling relationships by creating unforgettable summer camp experiences where brothers and sisters play, grow, and form lifelong bonds together.

Our Impact

When kids are at camp, they explore the world around them and learn that "I can" is much more powerful than "I can't"....magic happens. Camp Rooted is a purposeful environment created just for the youth we serve where they learn life skills, develop self esteem and gain a sense of belonging. Whether our campers are playing, exploring nature or conquering new heights, brothers and sisters are creating memories that will last a lifetime.

Get Involved

There are many organizations in the Inland Northwest that serve foster youth, but there is no other organization that is focused solely on the sibling bond, and advocating for the relationships of siblings in foster care.
